This article passes on the message of a licensed and certified nurse practitioner who would not name names or hospitals for the safety of those involved. Her friends, very alarmed at what is happening in these hospitals, can't talk or they'll lose their jobs. Nurses in New York hospitals where they are actually euthanizing patients because they get paid, are reaching out. (Under the CARES Act, hospitals are getting $3,000 for each patient, and $13,000 for Covid patients, and $39,000 if they go on a ventilator.) This lady said that this is NOT happening everywhere, but it is going on in some of the hospitals in New York City. (Cuomo, governor of New York and his ilk Bill de Blasio and Schumer, are eyeball deep in this. A map of 'confirmed' cases shows where all the cases are coming from: not even California compares with what's happening in New York, and possibly New Jersey.) Not speaking for herself and not working on the front lines herself, she was speaking for a friend who is working on the front lines to be her voice, for her friend's safety. Her friend could not come out and say this herself and wants to get this out: she is crying MURDER. She used the word "murder". People are being murdered and no one cares, no one is THERE to care. People who are sick that don't have to stay sick and could be helped are being left to rot and die. She has never seen so much neglect, no one cares. She said it was a nightmare out of a horror movie, not because of the disease, but because of the way it's being handled, and she does not want to be a part of this.
Nurse friends of hers were discussing different medications that could potentially help people, doctors around the country were reportedly using a combination of them, people were recovering. Those medications are not being used in hospitals in NYC. Instead what is happening is the patients, not knowing any better and not having family with them to advocate for them, are getting tricked: once these patients get intubated they being scared into giving consent. They are being put on nasal cannula oxygen; if they require more than 6 litres they go on the closed-system ventilator, but if there are not enough vents they do not get high flow, they do not get any non-invasive ventilation, no cpap, no bipap. For fear of spreading the virus they only use a closed-system ventilator as opposed to a c-pap or bi-pap machine. And for a lot of them it's over! These ventilators have high pressure which causes barotrauma (trauma to the lungs). A nurse in Florida was fired for exposing this. And a doctor in NYC, Dr Cameron Kyle Sidell, put out a video saying this wasn't quite right, it made no sense, they were doing something wrong and they were not treating this correctly. His video was pulled from YouTube and they took him out of ICU for sounding the alarm and going against 'protocol'. The protocol was to use propofol, or some kind of sedation (because they are on a ventilator) and IV antibiotics. There is no hydroxychloroquine, and they do not use zinc or Vitamin C A and D, they laugh at that! There are patients who are full code (meaning they will allow all interventions to get their heart started) and yet if they crash they are not doing compressions, so that they do not 'spread the virus'. Family are not there, there is no one to answer to, so there is no one being held accountable. There is nobody looking out for them. They are completely by themselves. A code is called, no one comes, so they are not even resuscitating people sometimes. They are not given blood transfusions, because they know the blood is not oxygenated. They are only changing the gloves on the outside; gown, masks, stay the same because all patients on a ward are Covid patients even though some of them are ruled out as being Covid. They are not going into rooms, which means they are not assessing the patients as frequently as you would be otherwise, and they are using long tubing so the tubing can be managed from outside of the rooms. They are not doing rapid result tests. You are lucky if you get results in five days. They are using the same PPE kit for the entire shift without not changing them. This nurse said that though they need help and there is enough manpower to save people, resources are not being utilized. Hundreds of nurses are sitting there in hotels, money probably being paid by FEMA, waiting to be called on to a shift, yet the hospital are still understaffed. There is a total lack of critical thinking. People who don't have to die are dying. People are scared to speak up. Nurses are being celebrated as heroines, and the greater majority of them are. But the nurses who are being seen hurting and killing people, not even running codes nor going into patient rooms, are not. Some know what's going on on the front lines, and doctors all around the world are sounding the alarms, yet it's not changing anything. What should we do? Go against the grain. Headbutt the system. Request records, transcripts, immediately. If there's a medication that you want your loved one to be given then record it as an at-home medication and demand it be continued. Once your loved one is admitted into hospital they will not have you there to advocate for them. The only reports they are able to get are coming from the inside, and people are afraid to speak out. People have lost their jobs. Do not give consent for intervention if you don't want yourself or your loved one to have it - in a lot of cases it is being used inappropriately, and the ventilators are making people worse. As soon as you give that consent you might not come out of it. Demand non-invasive or less invasive ventilation methods. Please share her information.
